Relaxing weekends are my jam.

Two weekends ago, the weather called for thunderstorms so we made plans to watch as many movies at home as possible. Sean is not the best movie watcher because he always falls asleep but this time around I was the one who fell asleep; not normal at all. I guess the movie �Gold� wasn�t that great to me. But know that I stayed wide awake for �Get Out� and �Split�. They were such �my mind is blown� kind of movies and I highly recommend. We took a break from movies at home to meet up with Cinthia for a Mexican brunch at Torre to celebrate her new job. Torre is now my new favorite Mexican restaurant in our area, so good! After brunch we went to see �Wonder Woman�. I�m the biggest fan of women being seen for the compassionate, intelligent and powerful beings that they are so I really enjoyed the movie. Spring made an appearance!

Guys, we finally got spring like weather (80s!!!) and we made sure to take advantage of it. Good thing too because we are back in the 40s & 50s this week. Not nice spring, not nice. We first enjoyed coffee and breakfast on the deck and then went to the gym for a workout. We had big plans to work on our front and back yards after the gym as Mr. Sean did not rake up the leaves last fall. Since it was going to be such a nice day, I decided that I'd help him, ha. I know how that sounds but I love informing everyone that I�m responsible for the inside cleaning & he�s responsible for the outside cleaning, also known as, raking, mowing, shoveling, etc. Anyway, regardless of how much work it was, it was actually very enjoyable & I believe our workouts earlier in the day helped to give us the energy we needed to work several hours in the front and back yards. New Orleans: Day 1

When we told several people that we would be visiting New Orleans in August everyone said that we chose the worst month to visit as it was the hottest month of the year. Well, they were right. It was hot, humid and rainy and despite that I still loved every moment of our time in New Orleans. When we reached our hotel we were a little disappointed to find that our room was not ready but the front desk called concierge to take our luggage while we waited. If anything, the lobby was such eye candy so I didn't mind waiting and immediately dug my camera out of my bag and began to take pictures. We stayed at Bourbon Orleans Hotel in the French Quarter. When we realized our wait would be more than 15 minutes, we decided to walk outside just to explore for a little while. I made the mistake of not changing into appropriate weather attire because man, it was hot and I became a sweaty mess quite quickly. I just loved all the colors and buildings in New Orleans.
