Love Marriage

Decorating for Christmas is one of my most favorite things to do. I do always tend to have issue with re-arranging things since the tree takes up a good portion of the space in our sitting room. This year, instead of putting the yellow chairs away (that usually go where the tree goes) I placed them in front of our window. Although, I much prefer them in their usual designated area, it is convenient to have additional seating when friends or family are over. Not related to this topic but of course I feel the need to mention, our palm tree had to find a new home away from the window because winter, and well, it thrived so much better by the window. Crossing fingers that it makes it though the winter and can go back to its beloved spot. This year we chose purple ornaments as a sort of tribute to my mom and every time I see it I can�t help but smile. I love everything fall and it simply might be because October is my birth month. But I do. I love the foliage, fall d�cor, cozy clothing, apple cider donuts, heating up the fireplace for the first time in the season and making all the comfort foods. I especially love being wrapped in a huge and soft blanket because of that warm and cozy feeling it brings. I didn�t do a great job with decorating for fall this year but I am trying to ensure that I am keeping the fall vibes strong, even if it's just in small and simple ways. This bouquet is seriously one of my most favorite I've done to date, hence all the possible angles. Happy fall y'all. Trying to enjoy it as much as I can because after this weekend, I can seriously feel winter knocking on our doors. I hope you all had wonderful weekends and have amazing weeks! ♥

I received a request about one month ago to share more house posts. Since I was already taking pictures of the brunch I threw two weekends ago, I decided to take a few pictures of the house to share as some sort of house update. I�m still working on completing several rooms around the house but I�m glad to report that I think that the sitting area, kitchen, dining area and bathrooms are good to go! I�ll try to share more house posts as additional rooms become complete but to be honest it's taking quite some time to complete as we're trying to purchase with intention vs. spontaneity these days.
